ABOUT US · A SPIRIT LURES PARTNER
Catch the spirit
Our mission is simple: bring the absolute best salmon and trout spoons to fishermen and fisherwomen across the United States.
Loony Spoons are the premier trolling spoon used to catch salmon, trout, walleye and char. Bright flash and crippled baitfish action make the Loony Spoon impossible for predatory fish to resist.
Our story
The story of Loony Spoons USA.
Four years ago, the journey of Loony Spoons USA began with a chance discovery of an extraordinary fishing spoon crafted by Spirit Lures. Captivated by its performance, the owner reached out and struck up a conversation with Spirit Lures’ owner, Cameron, laying the groundwork for a lasting partnership.
Shortly after, Nick took one of these exceptional spoons along on his annual fishing trip to Kodiak, Alaska. The results on the water were nothing short of amazing, proving just how effective the design truly was.
Inspired by that success, Loony Spoons USA was established with a clear mission: to bring the absolute best salmon and trout spoons to fishermen and fisherwomen across the United States. To this day, Loony Spoons USA is proud to partner with Spirit Lures, dedicated to providing top-tier products that help anglers catch more fish and elevate their time on the water.
The right action
The right action will get more strikes
The Loony Spoon’s erratic, crippled baitfish action sends out the right vibrations that game fish detect through their lateral lines. Commercial salmon trollers with high-end sonar technology are reporting salmon chasing down their Loony Spoons from more than 50 meters on either side of the boat.
But it’s not just salmon. Anglers fishing for trout, char, pike, walleye and even striped bass are reporting excellent results. Loony Spoons just seem to attract more fish and get more strikes.
